Sarita V. Mello

Sarita V. Mello is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in research and development, currently serving as Sr. Director of Research Development at Colgate-Palmolive since December 2003. Sarita has progressed through various roles within the company, including Associate Director, Manager of Technology, Sr. Technical Associate, and Research Scientist & Technical Associate. Prior to joining Colgate-Palmolive, Sarita worked as a Post-Doctoral Associate at the University of Miami from April 2000 to May 2003, and held a post-doctoral position at Universidade de Sao Paulo - Sao Carlos from April 1999 to March 2000. Sarita Mello earned both an MS and PhD in Physical Chemistry from USP - Universidade de São Paulo, completing studies from 1992 to 1999, and received a BS in Chemistry from Universidade Federal do Paraná between 1987 and 1991.
