April Campbell

April Campbell is a Special Counsel in the Insurance team in Sydney.

April has over 19 years' experience acting in the defence of professional indemnity claims for a wide range of professionals, including barristers, solicitors, accountants, insurance brokers, real estate agents, strata and property managers, engineers, surveyors, building and pest inspectors, and medical practitioners.

April has extensive experience in advising insurers in respect of policy interpretation and coverage issues.

April's experience extends to acting for directors and officers and defending public and property liability claims.

April has a Bachelor of Laws (Hons). She was awarded the University Medal in Law as well as numerous academic prizes, including the Equity and Trusts Prize and the Civil Procedure and Evidence Prize. April was admitted to practice as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of NSW in February 2003 and the High Court of Australia in September 2004.

April is a Long Service member of the North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club and is a keen ocean swimmer.

April joined Colin Biggers & Paisley in July 2022.
