Milton Alban Smith

Milton Alban Smith has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Milton Alban started their career in 1991 as an IT Specialist at Bahamas Telecommunications Company Ltd. Over the years, they took on various roles including IT Support Manager, Sr. Manager IT Infrastructure, and Chief Information Officer. In 2018, they joined Bank Of The Bahamas Limited as a Senior Manager IT, and later became the Corporate Manager & CIO at Bank of The Bahamas in 2019. Milton Alban is currently serving as the Vice President IT Service and Operations at Colina Insurance Limited.

Milton Alban Smith holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Nova Southeastern University, which they obtained from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed a BSc in Electronics Engineering from Louisiana Tech University from 1995 to 1997. Milton Alban also has an AA -EET degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from the College of The Bahamas, earned from 1988 to 1990. In terms of certifications, they obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in September 2018, and the ITIL Foundation Level certification from PeopleCert in 2019. Most recently, in 2022, they earned a certification from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.
