Youko Omori

Youko Omori has extensive experience in the technology industry, spanning over two decades. Youko began their career as an intern at the Communications Research Laboratory (CRL) in 1991. From 1994 to 2003, they worked at NEC Corporation as an Engineer in the Development research Labs, focusing on simulation and prototyping of high-speed wireless modems. Youko also worked on the development of W-CDMA/HSDPA modem prototypes.

In 2003, Omori became an Assistant Manager at NEC Corporation's Central Research Labs, where they continued their work on wireless communications. Youko then became a Principal Researcher, overseeing WLAN-related research projects between NEC Central Research Labs, NEC Europe Labs, and NEC Lab America. Omori was involved in the research and development of IEEE802.11 and Wi-Fi Alliance technologies.

From 2010 to 2015, Omori served as a Manager at NEC Corporation's Product Strategy Division and Software Platform Development Division. In this role, they developed strategies for wireless communication technologies for mobile phones, with a focus on WLAN and Bluetooth.
