Sarah Callaghan has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. Sarah is currently working at Collaboration for Impact as the Head of Demonstration & Learning. Prior to this, they served as the Policy & Impact Lead and Systems Change Practitioner at the same organization. Before joining Collaboration for Impact, Sarah worked as an International Development Adviser and Sector Capacity Team member at Q Shelter in 2021. From 2017 to 2021, they held the position of Director of Governance & Economic Growth at Crown Agents. Sarah also worked at The Law & Development Partnership, where they served in multiple roles, including Leadership Team + Practice Lead - Justice & Governance, Principal Consultant - Justice & Governance, and Senior Consultant. Sarah gained experience as a Peacebuilding Adviser at the Australian Government in 2013, Fragility & Conflict Policy and Programme Manager at DFAT from 2011 to 2013, Governance and Justice Adviser at Irish Aid from 2008 to 2010, Deputy Programme Manager at Norwegian Refugee Council from 2006 to 2007, and Ministerial Office Adviser at Adam Smith International in 2006.

Sarah Callaghan's education history includes a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Adelaide, which they obtained from 1997 to 2003. In 2003, they also completed a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Law Society of South Australia. Furthermore, they received a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Anthropology from the University of Adelaide, which they pursued from 1997 to 2000.
