Che Hsu has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Che started their career in 2000 as a Consulting DBA at Bayview Bank. Che then worked as a Database Architect at ProBusiness, where they were involved in revamping the centralized payroll system. Hsu also gained experience as a Database Modeling and Performance Tuning specialist at PeopleSoft.
In 2003, Hsu joined Loan Performance as a Data Warehouse Architect for Prepayment Modeling, where they worked on analyzing and modeling securitized mortgage pools. Che later moved to coupons.com Incorporated, where they served as a Consumer Marketing Data Architect, working on data pipelines and analyzing internet campaigns.
Hsu then joined Rakuten in 2010 as a Principal Data Architect and Scrum Master. At Rakuten, they played a key role in architecting data stores for global e-commerce systems, internet affiliate platforms, and product catalogs. In 2014, they joined Snowflake Computing as a Sales and Integration Engineer.
From 2015 to 2018, Hsu worked at Rakuten as a Principal Data Architect, focusing on data architecture and integration strategies. More recently, they co-founded Willington Research in 2005, where they serve as the CTO.
Throughout their career, Hsu has gained expertise in data architecture, integration, and analysis, particularly in the e-commerce and marketing sectors.
Che Hsu completed the Self-Expression and Leadership Program at Landmark in 2009. From 2003 to 2006, they pursued continuing education in Business Administration at Stanford University. In the period spanning from 1991 to 1995, Che attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering; however, it remains unfinished.
