Pat Deesen

Pat Deesen has extensive work experience in various roles in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.

Starting in 1998, Pat worked as an Account Manager at Spotfire, where they established the Spotfire business at pharmaceutical, biotech, and academic accounts in the northeastern US.

Pat then joined Pharsight Corporation in 2002 as a Global Account Manager, selling modeling and simulation consulting services to clinical project teams in the US.

In 2006, Pat became an Account Manager at Lincoln Technologies, a software and consulting company focused on safety signal detection in clinical trial and post-marketing databases. Lincoln was later acquired by Phase Forward and then Oracle.

Pat joined Visual i|o in 2007 as a Senior Account Executive, closing new business and building a pipeline of opportunities in clinical operations, portfolio management, and project management groups.

From 2008 to 2010, Pat worked at Accelrys as a Strategic Account Manager, selling scientific business intelligence software and the Pipeline Pilot platform to enhance innovation and efficiencies in 6 global strategic accounts.

Pat then became an Account Executive at Entelos in 2010, providing a predictive analytics platform to advance understanding of drug effects and successfully delivering on engagements with translational medicine, clinical development, and commercial teams.

Starting in 2012, Pat worked as a Senior Account Manager at Dotmatics, expanding into clinical, 'omics, and stem cell research and including digital medicine 'big data'.

In 2014, Pat became an Account Executive at GNS Healthcare, selling consulting solutions and software to global R&D groups across pharma and biotech companies that utilized big data analytics for improving drug development success.

From 2015 to 2016, Pat worked as an Account Manager at Streebo, specializing in data management, master data management, and visual analytics for pharmaceutical, life sciences, and government organizations.

Currently, Pat is the Director of Business Development at Collaborative Drug Discovery - CDD VAULT, a web-based hosted drug discovery informatics platform that facilitates data organization, analysis, collaboration, and new cure discovery.

Pat Deesen has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Chemistry from Hofstra University.
