Hendrik Brand has extensive work experience, starting with their role as a Vacation Student at Eskom in 2009. Hendrik then joined ETA operations in 2010, where they served as a Mechanical Engineer and later became the Technical Manager. In 2021, they joined Collaborit Asset Management Engineering as the Business Unit Director for Asset Reliability and Optimization.
Hendrik Brand has a strong educational background in Mechanical Engineering. Hendrik completed their Highschool Education at Afrikaanse Hoër Seunskool from 2002 to 2006. Hendrik then pursued their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree at North-West University / Noordwes-Universiteit from 2007 to 2010. Continuing their studies, Hendrik obtained a Master's degree (M.Eng) from CRCED Pretoria (North-West University) in 2011. Hendrik further pursued their Doctorate in Engineering (Ph.D) at CRCED Pretoria (North-West University) from 2012 to 2014. Finally, Hendrik undertook Post Doctoral Studies in Mechanical Engineering at CRCED Pretoria (North-West University) from 2015 to 2017.
