Youssef Salem

Youssef Salem is the CFO of Swvl, first unicorn from the Middle East to list on Nasdaqand first mass transit marketplace to go public globally, via a $1.5bn business combination with Queen’s Gambit. At 29 years old, Youssef will become one of the youngest CFOs of a Nasdaq listed company.

Youssef has 10 years of investment banking experience with Moelis & Company and QInvest. He executed >$85bn of capital raises, financings, and M&A across > 50 transactions.

Youssef was previously an Adjunct Professor of Practice at the American University in Cairo (AUC). He has a Bachelor of Science from AUC and is a CFA Charterholder and Fellow of the Society of Actuaries. He was featured in Forbes Middle East 30 under 30 list.
