Steve Knapp is currently the Executive Director of Media at Colle McVoy. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Market Strategy and Brand Activation at Carmichael Lynch, where they were responsible for ensuring the consistency of the brand message across paid, owned, and earned media platforms.

At Carmichael Lynch, Steve also worked directly with the Chief Creative Officer to develop and present new traditional, digital, mobile, social, and experiential brand ideas. Steve also drove agency revenue through "build it, don't buy it" programs, such as the MapMyDogwalk mobile app for Subaru, the Share The Love Facebook campaign, and the First Car Story digital/social experience. In addition, they expanded their responsibilities to include oversight of Account Planning, and evolved the Account Planning discipline into a holistic insights discipline that encompassed audience, messaging, and media-neutral activation strategies for all clients and prospects.

Steve rebuilt the team to include integrated strategic expertise in fields such as planning, media, digital, social, and research, resulting in an entirely new agency-wide briefing process. Steve also drove strategic collaboration across advertising and PR disciplines, especially with Analytics to maximize message/media ROI and formulate predictive models. Furthermore, they created an agency thought leadership initiative called #FOMO (Fear of Missing Out), which was a Tumblr-based platform that published infographics to client, prospects, media, and internal audiences.

Steve Knapp's educational career includes earning a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/Media Studies from the University of Minnesota Duluth. Steve also participated in a Study Abroad Program in the United Kingdom at the University of Birmingham.
