Chief Creative Officer/ Toy Designer/ Children's Publishing at Collective Goods

Stephen R. has a diverse work experience in the publishing and toy industry. Stephen served as the Chief Creative Officer, toy designer, and children's publishing expert at Collective Goods since 2009. Prior to that, Stephen worked as a Publishing Consultant for their own consulting company, Innovation Station. Stephen assisted publishing companies in developing new formats for children's books, cookbooks, and early learning games. Stephen also owned Reader's Choice Books, a display marketing company where they sold books, toys, and accessories to school teachers. From 1999 to 2003, they held the position of VP of Purchasing at Books Are Fun, where they collaborated with different divisions to develop new cookbook and children's book formats. Stephen's earlier roles included being a buyer, acquisitions editor, and international sourcer at Books Are Fun, and a school sales representative in Colorado, Wyoming, Kansas, and Utah.

Stephen R. attended the University of Iowa from 1989 to 1990, studying International Business without completing a specific degree. Following that, from 1990 to 1991, they attended the University of Colorado Boulder, focusing on Anthropology with a field of study in Archeology.
