M.D. Shahjalal

Md Shahjalal has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and teaching. Md is currently working as a Senior Backend Engineer at Collective Health since June 2021. Previously, they worked at Therap Services, LLC for several years, holding positions such as Senior Software Engineer, Associate Team Lead, and Software Engineer. Before that, they worked at Mars Solutions Ltd. as a Software Developer, where they designed and developed a desktop application using Java Swing for a job portal. Md also implemented a mail server using Apache James for email functionality. In addition, Md Shahjalal has experience as a Teaching Assistant at North South University, where they assisted faculty members and conducted tutorial sessions for students in Networking, Algorithm, Cryptography, and Operating System courses.

Md Shahjalal completed their Master of Science degree in Cybersecurity in Computer Science from The George Washington University from 2019 to 2021. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from North South University, where they attended from 2002 to 2006. In addition to their formal education, Md Shahjalal also earned a CERT Secure Coding in Java Professional Certificate from the Software Engineering Institute | Carnegie Mellon University in December 2021.
