Savita Pandey

Savita Pandey has a diverse work experience in the field of database engineering and administration. They started their career in 2009 as a Software Engineer at Accenture, where they focused on database performance improvement and test planning. They then moved on to Livia Legal as a Software Engineer, performing Oracle database analysis and troubleshooting LAN problems.

In 2012, Savita joined Espire Infolabs as a Software Engineer, where they administered large-scale PostgreSQL databases and designed database schemas. They also gained experience in security access control, testing, configuration management, and version control.

During the same period, Savita also worked at Vidyavati Hospital as an IT (Database) Infrastructure Architect. Here, they demonstrated deep knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture and implemented high-availability solutions. They were responsible for installation, configuration, replication, and maintenance of PostgreSQL servers, as well as backup and recovery strategies. They also optimized and performance-tuned multi-terabyte databases and had proficiency in SQL and shell languages.

From 2017 to 2018, Savita worked at OneLogin as a Database Administrator, and at Twitter as a PostgreSQL DBA. They handled PostgreSql and MySQL database administration, upgradation, maintenance, and backup and recovery. They also implemented disaster recovery solutions and worked closely with developers and QA teams for large schema and database releases.

In 2018, Savita joined goBalto, Inc. as a DevOps Engineer, and in 2019, they moved to Oracle as a Senior Database Engineer. These roles provided them with extensive experience in database engineering and maintenance.

Most recently, Savita has held the position of Senior Data Engineer (R&D) at Podium since 2021. Finally, starting from 2023, they will begin working as a Senior Database Reliability Engineer at Collective Health.

Savita Pandey has a diverse education background. Savita started their educational journey at Kendriya Vidyalaya, where they completed their 12th grade in Science in the years 2002 to 2004. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Ewing Christian College in India, graduating between 2004 and 2007.

Savita further enhanced their educational qualifications by obtaining a Master's Degree in Computer Application from the Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology - SMU. This degree was completed from 2009 to 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Savita Pandey also acquired the EDB Postgresql 9.6 associate certification from Enterprise DB in December 2017. This certification demonstrates their expertise in this specific field.
