Chris Davis

Chris Davis is an executive with over 30 years' experience in IoT, smart cities, high performance buildings, clean technology, and industrial automation sectors. As Founder and Managing Consultant at Technicity Consulting LLC, he helps companies unlock hidden potential by opening and growing new opportunities and markets. The focus is helping clients grow top-line and bottom-line results to achieve higher valuations for fundraising and at exit.

Formerly as Vice President, Smart Cities, Chris developed CIMCON Lighting's Smart City strategy and created an ecosystem of alliance and technology partners. In addition, he provided thought leadership through the creation of whitepapers, articles, blogs, podcasts and speaking at conferences globally.

Prior to CIMCON, Chris was Vice President, Global Strategic Alliances at Schneider Electric, President and Board Member of Baumüller Inc., and has held Vice President, Managing Director and Board Member positions at the following companies: Dapra Marking Systems, Color Kinetics, and Varta Batteries Pvt. Ltd (Singapore). In addition, Chris served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy.

Chris serves as a Mentor/Advisor in the following organizations: Leading Cities, Cleantech Open Northeast Region, Audible Health AI, MIT Enterprise Forum of Cambridge, MASS Technology Transfer Center, and the Massachusetts Advanced Manufacturing Collaborative – Energy Division. He received his Master of Business Administration from The Florida State University, Tallahassee, FL, and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Jacksonville University, Jacksonville, FL. In addition, he holds a Certificate of Achievement in Alliance Management from the Association of Strategic Alliance Professionals.
