Cyndi Rodriguez

Cyndi Rodriguez has a diverse work experience, with roles in the legal and advisory fields. Cyndi is currently serving as the Advisor & Co-founder of Collective Liquidity, Inc. since April 2022. Cyndi is also an Advisor on the Board of Advisors for Astrella since August 2019. Previously, they held the position of Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary at Nasdaq Private Market starting from September 2021. Cyndi has also served as an Advisor on the Board of Advisors for Vested from October 2020 to October 2022. In addition, they co-founded Collective Liquidity, where they held the positions of Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary from November 2020 to September 2021. Cyndi was also a Legal Advisor for Forge from November 2020 to September 2021. Prior to that, they worked at SharesPost as the Chief Legal Officer, General Counsel & Corporate Secretary from April 2019 to November 2020. Cyndi held various roles at Nasdaq Private Market, including Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel at NPM & VP, Deputy General Counsel at Nasdaq, Inc. from August 2013 to April 2019. Cyndi was also an Advisory Board Member for WFFConnect from March 2017 to July 2018. Before venturing into the private sector, they worked at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, holding positions such as Deputy Chief of Staff, Office of the Chairman, Senior Counsel to Commissioner Elisse B. Walter, Special Counsel, Division of Trading & Markets, and Counsel to Commissioner Luis A. Aguilar from 2001 to 2013.

Cyndi Rodriguez earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in the Plan II Honors Program from The University of Texas at Austin. Cyndi attended the university from 1992 to 1996. Following their undergraduate studies, Cyndi went on to The University of Texas School of Law where they received their Juris Doctor (JD) degree between 1996 and 1999, specializing in Law.

In terms of additional certifications, Cyndi became a Registered In-House Counsel through the State Bar of California in February of 2020. Cyndi also obtained their Attorney status through the State Bar of Texas in November of 1999.
