Tina Puryear currently serves as the Organisational Development and Training Associate at the Legal Aid Practitioners Group since July 2024, and has been an Associate at Collective Mind since October 2022. With a broad freelance consulting background since November 2010, Tina specializes in participatory rights-based approaches for voluntary and community organizations, undertaking roles as facilitator, researcher, trainer, and writer. Notable projects include the development of evaluation frameworks and training programs for various organizations such as Freedom from Torture, where Tina served as Head of Training and Capacity Building from April 2010 to January 2021, overseeing national training initiatives for professionals working with victims of torture. Tina holds a Master of Arts in Cultural Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies and Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
