Alison Matlack has a diverse work experience, beginning with their role as a Server and Head Hostess at 'cue Barbecue in 2013. In 2017, they became a Sales Associate at American Threads, where they met daily sales goals and quotas, curated merchandise lists, and helped curate social media content. In 2018, they worked as an Assistant to the Creative Director at Verity PR and Branding, where they assisted in the creation and ideation for editorial photoshoots, videos, and PR events. Alison also worked as a Social Media Marketing Intern at LAUREN NAPIER BEAUTY, where they helped curate, plan, and execute campaigns and daily postings across all social media platforms. That same year, they became a Digital Communications Intern at Bollare, where they engaged and followed digitally focused clients, wrote pitches to bloggers and industry influencers, and completed wrap reports for clients. Finally, in 2019, they joined VizSense as a Digital Marketing Coordinator and Influencer Marketing Coordinator, where they conducted regular market research and competitor analysis, planned and managed quarterly budgets for all internal marketing needs, utilized analytics tools to optimize digital marketing strategies, and conducted website audits. In 2021, they became the Manager of Influencer Marketing at Colleen Rothschild Beauty.
Alison Matlack attended The University of Georgia from 2015 to 2019, where they earned two Bachelor's degrees in Fashion Merchandising and Public Relations, Advertising, and Applied Communication. In addition, they have obtained certifications from Facebook Advertising, Google, and CITI Research in 2020, 2017, and 2020 respectively.
