Zeynep Torun currently serves as an Enseignant at Collège de Maisonneuve, where responsibilities include teaching various courses related to methodology in social sciences and project planning. In addition, Zeynep holds the position of Secrétaire de comité d'éthique de la recherche at CRSDD and is a Graduate Research Assistant focusing on social acceptability and socio-ecological transitions in Quebec agriculture. Zeynep co-founded CITÉ, an interdisciplinary initiative aimed at addressing environmental and social issues through non-hierarchical governance. Previous roles include Chargée de projet at CIBL 101,5, Auxiliaire d’enseignement at UQAM, and various research assistant positions involving social entrepreneurship and childhood language development. Zeynep is pursuing a Master’s degree in Social Responsibility and Environmental Management at ESG UQAM and has a background in economic theory and management from multiple institutions in France.
