Alissa Sheehan

Alissa Sheehan is an experienced educator and coach specializing in tutoring and college support. Since September 2014, Alissa has been providing personalized tutoring services for students from elementary to college level, with a focus on subjects such as English, Spanish, History, and Economics. As a College Completion Coach with College Forward since August 2012, Alissa has actively supported first-generation college students in the Austin and Houston areas, guiding them through the college application process and ensuring they earn their Bachelor's Degrees. Prior roles include an internship at Campamento Rural Metodista in Costa Rica, where Alissa organized and led community service initiatives, and a position with The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, where responsibilities involved member outreach and social media management. Educational credentials include a degree in Global Affairs with a concentration in Latin America from George Mason University and a certificate in Advanced Spanish Conversation.
