Suzanne Spragge is a board member at Frontier College. Suzanne previously worked as the assistant dean of external relations and chief of staff at the Rotman School of Management from November 2000 to November 2014.
During their 14 years at the Rotman School of Management, Suzanne was a key member of the executive team that grew the school from a $14 million business to a $130 million business. Suzanne ensured the smooth transfer of information between all members of the executive team, external stakeholders, and ensured the timely delivery of strategic initiatives.
Suzanne also managed and was board secretary for Rotman boards and working groups, such as the Dean’s Advisory Board, Financial Services Advisory Board, Corporate Outreach Group, and the International Working Group. In times of transition, they ran key, short term projects to ensure operational effectiveness, such as assuming responsibility of the fundraising portfolio in 2011/12 and ensuring key philanthropic gifts were closed (several million plus gifts) and the staff had a seamless transition between leaders.
In addition, Suzanne initiated and closed several new partnerships (exchange partners, donors and recruiters) for the Rotman School internationally (Hong Kong, mainland China and India) and across Canada. Suzanne was also the primary contact for many senior corporate and individual partners of the school, including donors, alumni, recruiters and volunteers.
Suzanne Spragge has a Master Financial Advisor degree in Philanthropy from Knowledge Bureau and CAGP. Suzanne also has an MBA in General Management from Ivey Business School at Western University. Her undergraduate degree is in Political Science and Sociology from University of Toronto - University of Trinity College. Suzanne has also completed the Crown Director Effectiveness Program from the Institute of Corporate Directors.
