College Internship Program (CIP)
Erin Fitzgerald has extensive experience in education and operational roles, currently serving as a National Admissions Operations Specialist at the College Internship Program since September 2015. Prior to this position, Erin worked as a Youth Development Counselor at Hillcrest Educational Centers, Inc. from August 2012 to September 2015, and as a Teacher for Students with Autism at Brayton Elementary School during the 2013-2014 academic year. Additionally, Erin gained teaching experience as a Student Teacher at Dutchess County BOCES Salt Point Center in 2012. Erin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education and Psychology from Marist College and is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Accounting at Southern New Hampshire University, with studies ongoing since 2019.

The College Internship Program (CIP) has been helping young adults on the autism spectrum and with learning differences find success in college, employment, and independent living in our centers across the US since 1984. The College Internship Program is the result of strategies we have developed over 35 years spent working with hundreds of young people on the spectrum - Helping them develop the self-knowledge and skill sets to live productive and happy lives.
