Lewis Hassell

Lewis Hassell serves as the President of the Board of Trustees for Open Pathology Education Network, Inc., focusing on expanding access to pathology education globally. With a longstanding role as the Director of Anatomic Pathology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and the University of Oklahoma since May 2008, Lewis has dedicated efforts to advancing the field of pathology. Additional leadership includes serving as President of the CAP Foundation, which aims to address health challenges in underserved populations, and past involvement with the Digital Pathology Association and the American Pathology Foundation. Lewis's extensive experience also includes a tenure as President and Associate Pathologist at Dahl Chase Pathology Associates in Maine, along with educational credentials from Brigham Young University and the University of Utah School of Medicine.
