Dorinda Harmon

Dorinda Harmon has extensive experience in higher education and event coordination. Currently serving part-time in the Office of Admissions at the College of Charleston, Dorinda focuses on dual enrollment and adult student scholarships and grants, having retired from full-time duties in 2016. Previously, Dorinda worked as an Event Coordinator for the Piccolo Spoleto Craft Shows from May 1988 to 2015, overseeing various aspects of the festival fine crafts show. Leadership roles include serving as Past President of both the Southern Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (2013-2014) and the Carolinas Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (2011-2012). Dorinda holds an M.Ed. in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of South Carolina and a BA in Liberal Arts from Appalachian State University.
