Joanna Allen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in higher education and cultural affairs. Currently serving as the Assistant to the Dean and previously as a Projects Assistant at the School of the Arts at the College of Charleston since October 2011, Joanna has also held significant roles at Winthrop University as an Event Coordinator and Administrative Specialist in Alumni Relations. Early career experience includes positions as Internship Coordinator, Interim Finance Coordinator, and Development & Marketing Assistant at the City of Charleston Office of Cultural Affairs. Joanna holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Arts Management with a minor in Business from the College of Charleston, obtained between 1998 and 2002.
