Laura Fornadel currently serves as the Senior Associate Director at the Center for Civic Engagement at the College of Charleston since June 2021, previously holding the role of Associate Director. Prior experience includes serving as Dean of Student Success and Director of the Student and Parent Advisory Center at Sampoerna University from October 2016 to June 2020. Laura also taught as a Lecturer at Broward College, developing a hybrid course in International Relations at the college’s International Center in Indonesia. Additional roles encompass positions as an Analyst at Vital Wave, Program Officer at the United States-Indonesia Society, and a Research Intern at the Centre for Strategic & International Studies. In earlier roles, Laura managed projects for whl.travel, taught Business English in Vietnam, and worked in catering at The Iron Gate Hotel & Suites. Educationally, Laura holds a Master of Pacific International Affairs from UC San Diego and dual Bachelor's degrees in Political Science and History from the University of Georgia, supplemented by a study abroad program at Charles University focusing on European History and International Politics.
