Mathew Garrison

Mathew Garrison currently serves as the Director of Admissions for Veterans/Military/ROTC and Special Populations at the College of Charleston, where responsibilities include creating strategic plans to enhance the recruitment and retention of military-affiliated students. Previous roles include Coordinator for Veteran, Military and ROTC Recruitment and Associate Director of the Connect2 Bridge Program. Experience also includes serving as the Employment Services Coordinator at Vantage Point Foundation and as a veteran with the South Carolina State Guard. Prior to this, Garrison held various roles at the National Collegiate Scouting Association, leading training and education initiatives, and worked as a scout and recruiter. Academic contributions include lecturing at Concordia University Chicago and Trinity College Dublin, with advanced degrees in Socio-cultural Theory and Curriculum Development, and Curriculum and Foundations of Education from Trinity College Dublin, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in History/Education from Hillsdale College.
