Alanna Kavanaugh

Director of the Family Nurse Practitioner Program at University of Mount Saint Vincent

Alanna Kavanaugh currently serves as the Assistant Dean of Graduate Nursing and Professor of Nursing at the University of Mount Saint Vincent since September 2015. In addition, Alanna Kavanaugh is active in various leadership roles, including Director At Large at NurseTRUST, Director of Region 6 for The Nurse Practitioner Association New York State, and a member of a task force at the American College of Chest Physicians focused on health equity. Alanna Kavanaugh holds a position as a Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner at Stamford Health and serves as a Board Member for the Association of Pulmonary Advanced Practice Providers. Past experience includes working as a Pulmonary Critical Care Nurse Practitioner at Weill Cornell Medicine and a Nurse Clinician at New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Alanna Kavanaugh is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Nursing Education at Columbia University, holding a Master’s Degree in Family Practice Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mount Saint Vincent.
