Imani Brown

Imani Brown, PhD, CPA, currently serves as a Visiting Professor of Accounting and Adjunct Accounting Faculty Member at the University of Mount Saint Vincent since May 2025. Prior experience includes roles at Hofstra University from June 2022 to May 2025 as an Adjunct Assistant Professor and Administrator for Accounting Accreditation and Assessment, where responsibilities involved student engagement and oversight of accounting accreditation processes. Previously, Imani held positions at EY from September 2019 to June 2022, starting as an Assurance Senior and conducting audits for healthcare clients, while also developing Alteryx models for data transformation and coaching colleagues. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Accounting from the University of Scranton, along with a Master of Science and Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from Hofstra University.
