Heather Mitchell, DMA, is an accomplished music educator and choral conductor with extensive experience in higher education and community choral organizations. Currently serving as Adjunct Faculty at Temple University and Assistant Director of Choral Activities at The College of New Jersey, Heather has also held significant roles including Associate Artistic Director and Director of Operations at the Mendelssohn Chorus of Philadelphia, and Artistic Director at Hopewell Valley Chorus. Previous experience includes Conductor-in-Residence with Manhattan Concert Productions, Operations Manager for Manhattan Chorale, and Assistant Director at Manhattan Choral Ensemble. Heather's educational background includes a Doctor of Musical Arts in Choral and Orchestral Conducting from the University of Arizona, a Master of Music in Choral Conducting from St. Cloud State University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Music and Fine Art from Rollins College.
