Michael Newman

Michael Newman is an accomplished music educator and performer with a long-standing career in guitar and chamber music. Since 2014, Michael has served as an Artist Teacher of Guitar and Ensembles at The College of New Jersey. Michael co-founded the New York Guitar Seminar at Mannes in 2000 and has been a faculty member at Mannes College of Music since 1979, also holding a position at The New School. As the owner of Newman & Oltman Guitar Duo, established in July 1977, Michael showcases a commitment to enhancing the performance and education of guitar music.
