Rithika Balaji Prasad

Rithika Balaji Prasad is an undergraduate student researcher at The College of New Jersey, focusing on the coupling of transcription and splicing processes in S. cerevisiae since January 2019. In addition to research, Rithika has served in several leadership roles, including Vice President and Secretary for TCNJ EMS, where responsibilities included organizing communications and managing the alumni network. Rithika's involvement in HOSA-Future Health Professionals as a Junior Representative and participation in the HOPP Summer Research Seminar Series at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, along with the BRAINterns Webinar Series at Lenox Hill Neurosurgery, reflects a strong commitment to the fields of health and biomedical sciences. Rithika previously worked as an academic tutor at AE2 Learning and has gained valuable experience through lab shadowing and mentoring positions. Rithika holds a Bachelor's degree in Biology from The College of New Jersey and a high school diploma from Middlesex County Academy for Allied Health & Biomedical Sciences.
