Elizabeth Horlock has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations. Elizabeth started their career as a Coordinator at Loblaw Companies Limited, where they were responsible for benefits and pension administration. Elizabeth then moved on to St. Michael's Hospital, where they worked as a Manager, overseeing functions for a large employee base and budget.
In 1994, Elizabeth joined Centennial College as the Director of Human Resources. Here, they developed strategies and programs related to various aspects of HR and labor relations. Elizabeth also served as a part-time instructor, teaching courses on compensation and benefits.
Elizabeth's most recent position was with the College of Nurses of Ontario, where they held several roles. Elizabeth initially served as the Director of Human Resources, where they developed strategies and programs focused on HR management, change management, and organizational development. During their tenure, they led a successful initiative to transform CNO into a teleworking organization. Elizabeth also collaborated with other regulators to deliver a leadership program.
Elizabeth currently holds the position of Director, People and Culture at the College of Nurses of Ontario, where they continue to contribute their expertise in HR management and organizational development.
Elizabeth Horlock graduated from Trent University with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree. Elizabeth'sjoint major was in Economics and Political Science. Elizabeth then pursued further education at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management, although the degree obtained is not specified. Additionally, they completed a program in Advanced Alternative Dispute Resolution at Stitt Feld Handy. Elizabeth also has certifications as a Certified Human Resources Executive from HRPA - Human Resources Professionals Association, obtained in June 2009, and in Advanced ADR from Stitt Feld Handy Group, obtained in November 2006.
