Niels Thakkar is a data analytics professional with extensive experience in the healthcare sector. Currently serving as Manager, Analytics at the College of Nurses of Ontario since February 2020, Niels Thakkar leads various initiatives including the development of data pipelines, standardized queries, and the analysis of regulatory data while managing membership surveys to inform policy. Previously, Niels Thakkar held roles at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, where contributions focused on enhancing evidence-informed decision-making through data analytics. An early career as an Exercise Physiologist at York Fitness involved conducting fitness assessments for notable agencies. Niels Thakkar holds a Master of Science in Epidemiology of Physical Activity and Health from York University and a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from McGill University.
