Becky Lockwood serves as the Director of The Salasin Project, overseeing community-based peer domestic violence services in rural Franklin County since February 2020, while also working as an Adjunct Faculty member at the College of Our Lady of the Elms since September 2019. Prior to these roles, Becky Lockwood held the position of Associate Director of Counseling & Rape Crisis Services at the Center for Women & Community, UMASS Amherst, from October 2001 to January 2020, managing operations of a 24-hour sexual assault and crisis intervention program. Additionally, Becky Lockwood worked at COMMUNITY ACTION PIONEER VALLEY from August 1991 to September 2001, initially as Youth Counselor/Assistant Director and later as Director of Youth Programs, creating prevention programs and facilitating support for at-risk youth. Education includes a Master of Social Work in Community Organizing from the University of Connecticut and a Bachelor of Arts in English from UMASS Amherst.
