Chelsea Huang has extensive experience in pharmacy management and leadership, currently serving as Chair of the Registration Committee and previously as Vice Chair at the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia since May 2019. Chelsea has managed various pharmacy teams, including the largest pharmacy in BC at CareRx Corporation and high-volume locations at Shoppers Drug Mart. As Head of Preventative Health at Mednow.ca, Chelsea led initiatives to innovate pharmacy services in Vancouver. With a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Manitoba and additional training in compounding, Chelsea is committed to advancing pharmacy practice through exceptional patient care and business growth.

Found in 1891, the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia is located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh). The College of Pharmacists of BC is the regulatory body for pharmacy in British Columbia and is responsible for registering pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and licensing pharmacies throughout the province. The College’s mandate is to protect the public by ensuring pharmacists and pharmacy technicians provide safe and effective care to help people achieve better health. We receive our authority from the government of BC through the Health Professions Act and the Pharmacy Operation and Drug Scheduling Act. The College believes in integrity, transparency, and excellence. As part of our team, you can expect to be treated professionally and with respect. The College’s 12-member Board sets the strategic direction for the regulation of the pharmacy profession in BC. The Board is also responsible for establishing and reviewing policies in accordance with governing legislation. The Board is mandated by legislation to act in the public interest. The Registrar is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the College. Assisted by a dedicated staff team, the Registrar/CEO is responsible for carrying out the day to day operations of the College.
