Sandra Harvey is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in registration, licensure, and consulting within healthcare. Currently serving as the Director of Registration and Licensure at the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia since April 2025, Sandra previously held the position of Manager of Registration and Renewal Services at the BC College of Nurses and Midwives from March 2021 to April 2025. As the Founder and Principal Consultant of Practice Evolutions Consulting and Team Placement since 2015, Sandra has also excelled in leadership roles, including Vice President for the Western Region at Experdent Dental Advisors and Western Division Leader at Transitions Group North America. With a strong background in dental care regulations, Sandra served as Director of Registration and HR at the College of Dental Surgeons of BC from June 2008 to December 2014. Educational achievements include a Project Management Professional Certification from Simon Fraser University, a Six Sigma Black Belt from the Management Strategy Institute, and various diplomas in adult education and leadership.

Found in 1891, the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia is located on the traditional, ancestral and unceded lands of the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), and səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh). The College of Pharmacists of BC is the regulatory body for pharmacy in British Columbia and is responsible for registering pharmacists and pharmacy technicians and licensing pharmacies throughout the province. The College’s mandate is to protect the public by ensuring pharmacists and pharmacy technicians provide safe and effective care to help people achieve better health. We receive our authority from the government of BC through the Health Professions Act and the Pharmacy Operation and Drug Scheduling Act. The College’s 12-member Board sets the strategic direction for the regulation of the pharmacy profession in BC. The Registrar is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the College. Assisted by a dedicated staff team, the Registrar/CEO is responsible for carrying out the day to day operations of the College.
