Erik Swartz

Erik Swartz currently holds the position of Head of the Department of Pediatrics at Vancouver Coastal Health/Providence Health Care and Richmond Hospital, alongside serving as Interim Senior Medical Director. With ongoing roles at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada as a member of the Pediatrics Exam Committee and as a Physician Assessor for the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia, Erik has a robust presence in pediatric healthcare. In academia, Erik serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at The University of British Columbia and a Consultant Pediatrician at BC Children's Hospital, having previously been an Assistant Professor at the University of Alberta. Educational qualifications include an MD from The University of British Columbia, a Royal College Pediatrics Residency from the University of Alberta, and an MSc in Healthcare Informatics from the University of Bath.
