Dr. Nicole Kain

Dr. Nicole (Nikki) Kain is a seasoned professional in public health and program management, currently serving as the Program Manager for the Research & Evaluation Unit at the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta since August 2015. Dr. Kain's role involves developing data collection processes to facilitate continuous improvement and evaluation of medical competence. Additionally, Dr. Kain has been a Program Manager for the Coalition for Physician Enhancement since January 2019 and a member of the Board of Directors at the Faculty of Medicine & Dentistry, University of Alberta since July 2017. Dr. Kain has previously held academic positions, including Clinical Lecturer in the Department of Medicine at the University of Alberta and has engaged in various research roles, alongside a robust educational background with a PhD in Public Health from the University of Alberta and a Master’s in Public Administration from Queen's University.
