Jan Mittleider

Before being elected to the board in 2012, Jan was an educator at CSI spanning four decades until her retirement. She served as the first volleyball coach, a community wellness advocate and a champion of active aging programs. Her Over 60 and Getting Fit program for older adults has served as a model for countless community-based programs around the country. Jan continues to serve as a wellness consultant and community volunteer. She is a board member of the Magic Valley Arts Council, a regional representative for the Idaho Commission for the Arts and the President of the Full Moon Gallery, a local artist cooperative. “I love the mission of the community college and the opportunity to impact every stage of life from the cradle to the grave.” A native Idahoan, Jan enjoys, hiking, travel and photography.
