Jill Wathen has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Jill started their career at JW Administrative Services in 1994, where they supervised activities related to section 125 administration. In 1998, they joined the College of Southern Maryland as a supervisory student accounts (BURSAR), overseeing student accounts receivable. Jill later became the fiscal specialist for the Workforce Development Network, managing restricted funds and conducting audits. Jill then served as the accounts payable supervisor and director of the Southern Maryland Telework Centers, where they managed finances and provided technical services. Jill subsequently became the director of operations for Continuing Education, overseeing fiscal oversight and strategic planning. Most recently, they have been serving as the director of strategic initiatives and projects at the College of Southern Maryland, leading large-scale projects and ensuring appropriate technology use.
Jill Wathen attended the College of Southern Maryland from 1986 to 2004, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. Jill then pursued a Bachelor's degree at the University of Maryland Global Campus from 2004 to 2006, majoring in Business Administration and Management.
