Dr. James McCoy

Dr. James McCoy is an accomplished educator and administrator with extensive experience in higher education, currently serving as CCA Fellow Emeritus at Complete College America, focusing on postsecondary Guided Pathways and academic mapping. Previous roles include Vice President of Academic Affairs at the Nevada System of Higher Education and various positions within the College of Southern Nevada, culminating as Associate Vice President in Academic Affairs. Dr. McCoy holds a Doctorate in Community College Leadership from Ferris State University, along with a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Communication from California State University, Fresno, as well as an Associate degree from College of the Sequoias. In addition to academic roles, Dr. McCoy has a background in broadcasting as Program Director and Morning Show Host at KARM Radio.
