Mark Olson

Mark Olson is a seasoned photography educator and program director with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as the Program Director for the Lincoln County Photography Festival since September 2020, Olson has been a full-time, tenured Professor of Photography and Videography at the College of Southern Nevada since August 2001. Prior to this, Olson taught various photography and design courses at Las Vegas Academy High School from 1994 to 2001. Mark Olson holds a Master's Degree in Secondary Education from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas (1994-1996) and a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial and Color Technology from Brooks Institute (1985-1988), with prior education at Arizona State University (1983-1985).
