Stavan Corbett

Stavan Corbett currently serves as the Interim Executive Director at the College of Southern Nevada, overseeing operations in economic development and workforce initiatives. Previous roles include External Relations Manager at Workforce Connections, where Stavan focused on cross-sector workforce and education initiatives, and Chief Strategist and Government Affairs Officer at United Way of Southern Nevada, where Stavan built strategic relationships in workforce and economic development. Stavan has held positions with The Public Education Foundation, where strategic direction in workforce development was provided, and served as a School Board Trustee for the Clark County School District, delivering oversight for one of the nation’s largest educational districts. Stavan's experience also includes leadership roles with the Nevada State Board of Education, Nevada State College, and the LUZ Community Development Coalition, showcasing a strong background in strategic planning, program development, and community engagement. Stavan holds a degree in Educational Leadership and Management from Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy.
