LaQuin Lay is a seasoned music professional and educator with extensive experience in program management and community engagement. Currently serving as the National Program Manager at College Possible since July 2023, LaQuin has a rich musical background as an independent singer/songwriter since 1998 and has owned Just a LilBit since 2006, providing live music experiences. LaQuin has also worked in educational roles, including as a music teacher at College Achieve Central Charter School and as a Program Manager at Playworks, overseeing multiple program coordinators in New York and New Jersey schools. Previous positions include serving as Education and Community Resource Associate at WBGO and performing as a saxophonist with Night Shift Entertainment. LaQuin earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Professional Music from Berklee College of Music between 1996 and 2001.
