Terren Klein is the co-founder and CEO of College Pulse, a social media platform for college students. Terren is also a psychology researcher and former investment associate.
Klein began their career as a research intern at Dartmouth College, where they conducted research on the history of Jewish scholarship on Islam in the 19th century. Terren later became a student director at the college, responsible for researching and developing new opportunities and programs that promote discussion of spirituality, religious dialogue, and ethical living on campus.
In 2009, Klein interned at the U.S. Department of State, where they provided analysis of bilateral relations between the U.S. and Argentina on a broad range of issues including counter-narcotics, national security and human rights. Terren also assisted in the preparation for President Obama's diplomatic visit to Argentina.
After graduating from Dartmouth College in 2010, Klein worked as a legislative intern for U.S. Senator Jeanne Shaheen. Terren then interned at the Public Religion Research Institute (PRRI), where they researched and wrote reports on religious and social issues.
In 2012, Klein co-founded College Pulse, a social media platform for college students. The company has since raised over $10 million in funding and is used by millions of students around the world.
Terren Klein attended Dartmouth College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government. Terren also attended Edgemont High School and Universidad Internacional Menéndez Pelayo, where they studied Spanish Language and Literature.
