Amanda Gibson is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in K-12 science coordination and curriculum development. Currently serving as the K-12 Science Coordinator for College Station ISD since August 2007, Amanda oversees the curriculum development and supports instructional implementation for all K-12 science courses while providing professional development for educators based on research-based best practices. Prior to this role, Amanda worked as an educator delivering tailored content in mathematics, science, and social studies, and served as an executive assistant at Cho-Yeh Camp and Conference Center, where responsibilities included program direction and administrative support. Amanda holds a Bachelor of Science in Earth and Life Science Education from Texas A&M University and completed undergraduate coursework at Stephen F. Austin State University, with a high school diploma from Clear Lake High School.
