Amber Charlton

Dyslexia Teacher at College Station ISD

Amber Charlton has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Dyslexia Teacher at College Station ISD since August 2019. Prior to this role, Amber worked as a Reading Interventionist at Hempstead ISD from August 2017 to June 2019 and as a 6th Grade English Language Arts Teacher at Navasota Junior High School from August 2013 to June 2017. Earlier in their career, Amber taught at Eye Level Education Center and served as a Volunteer Coordinator at SouthernCare Hospice. Amber holds a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Literacy Studies from The University of Texas at Arlington and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a Marketing emphasis from the University of Texas at Tyler. Currently, Amber is pursuing a Master of Curriculum and Instruction, Literacy Studies, and is a Master Reading Teacher at The University of Texas at Arlington.
