Cayo Gonzalez

Cayo Gonzalez is a Medical School Admissions Consultant at Shemmassian Academic Consulting since November 2020. Cayo's experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant for the Leadership in Health Disparities Program at Stanford University School of Medicine and working as a Clinical Researcher in the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery at Stanford Health Care during the summer of 2021. Previous roles include tutoring for the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT), serving as a Teaching Assistant for General Physiology at Columbia University, completing a summer internship at Gilead Sciences, and participating in research fellowships and internships at Columbia University and Stanford University. Cayo is currently pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree at Stanford University School of Medicine, following a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences from Columbia University.
