Eri Cuanalo has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Eri began their career as a Lecturer in Hospitality Operations Management at Oxford Brookes University in 1995. From 1995 to 2000, they served as the Chief Executive at Aquis Plc. Subsequently, they worked as a Financial Consultant at FPD Savills from 2000 to 2002 and as a Financial Analyst at SFA Oxford from 2000 to 2005. In 2004, Eri joined CRM Students as the Director of Student Services, where they played a crucial role in establishing the company as a market leader in student accommodation management and built various industry practices. In 2011, they founded Collegiate AC and served as the Chairman & CEO of Collegiate Group Ltd until June 2020. As the CEO, they provided expert development, design & specification, operational management, and advisory services for student accommodation asset owners and developers in the UK and Europe. Under their leadership, Collegiate AC successfully oversaw the management of over 50 student accommodation schemes and advised on over 400 student schemes, catering to around 30,000 student tenants.

Eri Cuanalo obtained an MBA in Business from Oxford Brookes University between 1990 and 1995. In 1993-1994, they also earned a Professional Diploma in Marketing Management from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing. Additionally, they obtained an HCIMA Professional Diploma in Hospitality Management from the HCIMA / Institute of Hospitality Management during 1991-1992. For their secondary education, Eri Cuanalo attended Lord Williams's School from 1979 to 1984.
