Bryan Chitwood, Ph.D. has a diverse work experience. Starting in 2010, they worked as a Project Manager at Unique Squared Inc. From 2012 to 2017, they served as a Digital Scholarship Consultant at Emory University. In 2017, they joined SimpleTexting as a Digital Marketing Manager, where they implemented growth marketing strategies and orchestrated analytics for a SaaS web application. In 2018, they moved on to Collegis Education, initially working as a Senior Specialist in Marketing Analytics. In this role, they introduced Agile delivery for technology services, improved measurement across the customer lifecycle, and supervised client workstreams for web data collection. Bryan then advanced to various managerial positions, including Manager of Data Onboarding and Senior Manager of Data Onboarding. In these roles, they developed a cloud data platform, co-developed a go-to-market strategy for data platform-driven products, and implemented automated data testing and centralized alerting to support data quality. Currently, Bryan serves as the Director of Data Enablement at Collegis Education, where they lead managed data services and data products and provides data strategy leadership and advising for partner organizations.

Bryan Chitwood, Ph.D. obtained a Certificate in Chief Data Officer (CDO) from Carnegie Mellon University - Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy in 2022. Prior to that, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in English from Emory University, completing their studies between 2011 and 2019. In 2010, Bryan obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Humanities from the University of Chicago. Their undergraduate education includes a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) magna cum laude with honors in English Literature and Business Administration from Mercer University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Bryan Chitwood also holds a certification as a Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect, which they obtained in July 2023 from Google.
